Before Easter, the Extended Service children helped plant willow to create a large willow dome for the Pre School’s garden. The Greenspace project joins together the Primary School, Pre School, Scouts and the Church community to create and enhance shared natural environments for all parties to enjoy. The project is all about making the most of and enjoying nature as well as bringing together a sense of community spirit. This also benefits the Pre School as with linking us with the Primary School, this helps aid the transition when children go on to the Primary School for P1. We will be using the garden area from tomorrow and the dome will be a wonderful addition for children’s play. Further projects including a wild flower meadow and nesting boxes planned!
