In Term 2, we were very excited to add a new area to our classroom – a wonderful, little Woodwork Station. All of the children received their training and since then have been given opportunities to make and create; experiencing a different medium as well as learn how to use real tools. The children have been gradually building on their models and last week finished these off using paint. It has been a great addition to ‘hands on learning’ and I’m sure the children will be back in creating new models at the next opportunity!
